"We hope India and Pak can conduct dialogue" : China
Chinas foreign minister Wang Yi said as a mutual friend to both India and Pakistan, China hopes that the countries will be able to conduct dialogue and keep things under control

"As a mutual friend to both India and Pakistan, we hope that they can conduct dialogue to establish facts through investigation to keep things under control and maintain peace and stability in the region. In this process China is playing a constructive role not the opposite," China foreign minister Wang Yi said addressing the 16th Foreign Ministers Meeting of Russia-India-China (RIC).
He added that China believes Pakistan has always opposed terrorism and that the country appreciates that India and Pakistan have decided to exercise restraint and avoid escalation of the situation.
