The Rythu Bazaar was constructed in 20 guntas at a cost of Rs 75 lakh for the welfare of farmers and traders.

As per the official information, about 357 farmers of 46 villages from Nalgonda, Thipparthi, Kanagal, Narketpally, Chityal, Kattangur, Gurrampodu and Munugodu will get benefited.

At present, the farmers of nearby villages are forced to sell their produce under the open sky near Clock Tower, which it becomes tough for the farmers on the rainy days.

Earlier, the old Rythu Bazaar in the town, which was built near DEO office on Devarakonda road during the TDP government in united Andhra Pradesh, could not be maintained due to official apathy.

With the new Rythu Bazaar located near agricultural market, farmers are expressing happiness as the location is accessible to one and all and has ample parking space for the buyers.
