Working President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka along with MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy offered floral tributes to the portrait of Babu Jagjivan Ram here at Sanjeeva Reddy Bhavan.
Speaking on the occasion, Vikramarka said celebrating the Babu Jagjivanram’s birth anniversary would give inspiration to entire Dalit community.Babu Jagjivan Ram strived hard for upliftment of the weaker sections and agriculture sector during his tenure as Union Minister, he added.
He demanded that the government to confer Bharat Ratna on Babu Jagjivan Ram to honour him by recognising his hard work.
