Chivemla Tahsildar to carry out functions of sub-registrar
As a part of delegation of powers toTahsildars to carry out registrations, the State government has selected has selected Chivemla Mandal Revenue office onpilot project in the district.
Suryapet: As a part of delegation of powers toTahsildars to carry out registrations, the State government has selected has selected Chivemla Mandal Revenue office onpilot project in the district.
The mandal has 36,000 population.Hereafter, people can do the registrations lands locally and can get the certificate of registration within two days. The district administration has made all the arrangements for it.
The Mandal Revenue office would carry out all the tasks being performed by the sub-registrar office. The functions entrusted to the Tahsildar include land and marriage registrations, conversion of agriculture land into commercial ones, etc.
Services at Chivemla Tahsildar office willbegin from Saturday, according to officials. Meanwhile, District collector K Surendra Mohan visited the Chivemla Tahsildar office and inspected the arrangements.He directed the officials to ensure that service are launched without any hitch.
People of Chivemla thanked the state government for selecting their Tahsildar officefor starting registration services under pilot project in the district.
