Nagarkurnool: Rythu Bandhu Special Officer Anil Kumar here on Tuesday reviewed the progress of distribution of Rythu Bandhu cheques and pattadar passbooks to farmers. Joint Collector Surendra Karan and Disrtrict Agriculture Officer Singi Reddy also participated in the review meeting.

The Special Officer, who participated a programme at Veldanda village, said the distribution of Rythu Bandhu cheques and pattadar passbooks were being carried out successfully through the State.

“The Rythu Bhandu cheque distribution programme is conducted successfully in Nagarkurnool district. During the past few days, lakhs of farmers have got their new pattadar passbooks and input capital cheques. Now fewer farmers will approach banks for loans. The scheme is of great help to the debt-ridden farmers,” Surender Karan.

This time there will be very less farmers who will go for asking debts from the banks or lenders. This scheme is of great help and relieved the farming community of getting debt ridden,” said the JC Surendra Karan.

Among all the four districts of Mahbubnagar, Gadwal, Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool are having the maximum number of farmers and lakhs of them have been benefited by the Rythu Bhandu scheme. However, there are issues relating to errors in passbooks. The Joint Collector said the errors would also be rectified by the first week of June.programme reviewed
