Sharmila dubs Kiran as sealed cover CM

Vijayawada: The YSR Congress leader, YS Sharmila, here on Thursday dubbed Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy as sealed cover Chief Minister. Addressing a public meeting at Ranigarithota in Krishnalanka as part of her 'Maro Praja Prasthanam,' Sharmila said that people did not elect Kiran Kumar Reddy to be the Chief Minister of the State. She said that late Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy had made Kiran Kumar Reddy as Assembly Speaker which had helped him get recognition in New Delhi. However, Kiran Kumar Reddy, instead of showing some respect to the leader who had given him political life, was now trying to erase the image of the leader, she said. She alleged that the Chief Minister was diluting the welfare schemes of late Dr Rajasekhar Reddy and was creating problems for him.She also spoke about former Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu and alleged that the TD chief had no concern for people. She alleged that Chandrababu Naidu had betrayed the Congress, then his father-in-law NTR and finally the people. She said that people were not believing the promises of the TD chief and were waiting for Jaganmohan Reddy to come to power. Sharmila said that people were waiting for Jaganmohan Reddy to become the Chief Minister of the State and restore the welfare programmes of late Dr Rajasekhar Reddy. She said that Jaganmohan Reddy was in jail today only because of his promise to the people on Odarpu Yatra. She said that several well wishers had advised Jaganmohan Reddy not to defy the Congress leadership. However, Jaganmohan Reddy stood by his word and was facing the problems created by the Congress government, she said. She asserted that Jaganmohan Reddy would come out of jail and become Chief Minister of the State.
