RaghavendraKurnool: A 'Samraksha Uttarakhand Flood Relief Programme-Haridwar' Committee has been set up by Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt head Sri Suyatheendra Theerthulu, for the benefit of the Uttarakhand flood-affected persons. The mutt head is the honorary president and 'uttaradhikari' Subhudendra Theertha is the vice-president. Among the committee members is M N Venkatachalaiah, former chief justice of the Supreme Court. Subhudendra Theertha told presspersons here on Tuesday that the committee would aim to rehabilitate those who lost everything, by providing food, clothing, medical aid and transportation to reach their villages. He said the mutt in New Delhi was already providing relief. He appealed for generous public donations by contacting the manager.
