TRS worker thrashed to death in Vikarabad
A TRS leader was brutally killed on Tuesday in Peddemul village of Vikarabad district According to the police, Chandravarma Prasad Rao Deshpande 55 who resides at Malkajgiri with his family had gone to his native place Mambapur of Peddemul village where he holds 40 acres of agricultural land
A TRS leader was brutally killed on Tuesday in Peddemul village of Vikarabad district. According to the police, Chandravarma Prasad Rao Deshpande (55) who resides at Malkajgiri with his family had gone to his native place Mambapur of Peddemul village where he holds 40 acres of agricultural land.
On Tuesday, when Rao was digging a borewell in the land, the owners of neighbouring fields picked up an argument saying that the water level in their land will go down and asked Rao to stop the digging. When Rao refused, they beat him black and blue with sticks. He died of serious head injuries.
The incident occurred around 4.30 pm and none of them came to rescue of the TRS worker as the accused threatened to kill them. Rao's body was shifted to a government hospital for an autopsy. No complaint has registered yet.
