Tenali: Former Tamil Nadu Governor Konijeti Rosaiah to receive prestigious Nannapaneni award on 27 January (Sunday) at NVR convention center, Nazerpeta in Tenali.

AP Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao will be presenting the Nannnapaneni Venkat Rao memorial award to Rosaiah.

NVR trust president Dr. Patibandla Dakshina Murti said that Minister Nakka Ananda Babu, Women's Commission Chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari, Former Minister Galla Aruna Kumari, MLA Alapati Rajendra Prasad will be attending the award presentation function.

Nannnapaneni Venkat Rao served as Tenali municipal chairperson for three terms and was also elected to the Assembly twice from Ponnur.

NVR as municipal chairperson canceled the tax on cycles, bullock cart, he designed the master plan for the Tenali town. The bus stand and three bridges were constructed in town under his term.
