KESORAM Talentrama 2014. The Grand Finale of KESORAM Talentrama was held on 15 September 2014, at Kala Mandir, Kolkata. The colourful extravaganza saw unparallel performances by 21 Finalists, who came from across the country (from Karnataka, Telangana, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal).
The Grand Finale of KESORAM Talentrama was held on 15 September 2014, at Kala Mandir, Kolkata. The colourful extravaganza saw unparallel performances by 21 Finalists, who came from across the country (from Karnataka, Telangana, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal).

The distinguished Judges for the Grand Finale were: Mahesh Bhatt, eminent film director, producer and screenwriter; Usha Uthup, renowned singer; Priti Patel, dance exponent and Monali Thakur, reputed playback singer and actress. The parameters for judgement were: (i) Stage presence, (ii) Skill, (iii) Entertainment value and (iv) Overall presentation.
Usha Uthup sang a number of her popular songs before the results were announced. Versatile Mir Afsar Ali (Mir) conducted the Grand Finale with his usual wit.
In the Youth segment, Ayushmaan Sharma (dance) from Uttar Pradesh has been adjudged the winner. While the First Runner-up was Ayushi Yadav (dance) from Uttarakhand, Sohini Sahoo (dance) from Uttarakhand became the Second Runner-up.
In the Adult segment, Rashmi Sudaresh Aursang, from Karnataka, became the winner. The First Runner-up and Second Runner-up were Nishitesh Ratnakar Biradar (vocal) from Karnataka and Shyamsnigdha Roy (vocal) from West Bengal, respectively.
Rashmi Sudaresh Aursang(20 years) is suffering from ‘Neurocentric cyst in spinal cord’ that caused her from birth to be inactive from the waist down. She performed Indian Classical Dance, despite the limitations of being on a wheel chair. Rashmi is a fighter and a true embodiment of human spirit. Despite her demoralizing handicap Rashmi has approached life without fear. Rashmi currently studies in 2nd year of B.C.A. (Bachelor of Computer Applications).
Among the other finalists, Thanniru Hima Sreeja (from Telangana), Sarika Dubey (Uttarakhand); Sagarika Goswami (West Bengal), Basundhara Das (West Bengal) and Anneswa Goswami (West Bengal) gave spectacular dance performances.
Finalists, Krishna Kaushik Barik (Odisha); Samir Parmar (Gujarat); Sarveswara Raju Munna (Telangana); Vidyadheesh Aadya (Karnataka); Sharon Evengaline (Karnataka); Naresh B Zilpe (Karnataka); Nishitesh Ratnakar Biradar (Karnataka); Prem Kumar Jadhav (Karnataka); Siddhesh Naresh Zilpe (Karnataka); Rashmi Sonth (Karnataka) and Puja Sharma (West Bengal) presented mesmerizing vocal songs at the Grand Finale.
The preliminary rounds were conducted at Sedam (Karnataka), Balasore (Odisha), Tribeni (West Bengal) and Laksar (Uttarakhand). While the Sedam centre represented the entire hinterland comprising the South, West and Central India, the Laksar centre was meant for participants from North and North-West India. The Balasore and Tribeni centres were for the participants from Eastern India.
