Exchange of Fire - Woman Maoist killed

In an exchange of fire at Andhra Odisha Border, one woman Maoist killed in the incident on Friday morning hours.

Later, the forces rushed to the spot and found a woman Maoist and identified as Rana. According to the information from the spot, she belongs to Odisha.

According to the police, as a part of the combing operations at Andhra Odisha Border, the armed forces started their operations since morning.

When armed forces reaching to Andravalli panchayat, they noticed a group Maoists are moving and alerted all the forces.

In order to escape from the spot, the police said that the Maoists opened fire on the police and countering their attack the armed forces also given a strong answer.

Both parties traded bullets for about 15 minutes. After a gap of silence, the forces rushed to the spot and found the woman body and identified as Rana. More details are yet to be established.
