Finally, the ACA–VDCA YSR Reddy Stadium at Photinamallayyapalem in Visakhapatnam got Test status recognition.
The issue of granting the Test status came up in the annual general body meeting of the BCCI today and it decided to accord the elusive status to the Vizag stadium.
Apart from Vizag, the cricket grounds at Ranchi, Indore, Pune and Rajkot have got the test status. The stadium has already been hosting ODIs and T20 international matches and test cricket matches will be conducted.
