All Star basketball
The Hyderabad District Basketball Association (HDBA) in collaboration with Amazing Telangana Sports Club (ATSC) will launch a first of-its-kind All Star Basketball Championship at YMCA Greater Hyderabad here on Monday. A feature of the four-day round robin open tournament will be that it will have six senior teams and four in the junior segment.

This was announced by Association President Sridhar Reddy Ravula and ATSC founder Anthony Isaac here on Saturday.
Sridhar Reddy said that it will be the perfect platform for budding hoopsters to cash in on the opportunity to parade their talent. A bigger reward for the city-based basketball players, and the coaches, will be that they would come under the watchful eyes of Arnold Gibson, coach of NBA outfit Boston Celtics who will be in town and interact with them during the championship.
The event will be inaugurated by Legislator G Kishan Reddy in the presence of the VC and MD of SATS, A Dinakar Babu.
