earnSrikakulam: Director of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Dr. Jaya Raju, here said that the students pursuing medical studies should get good recognition as doctors in the society. He met the college students who completed four-and-a-half years of their course and are working as house surgens on Thursday. On this occasion he said that this is the first batch passing out of RIMS Medical College. As per the regulations of the medical council the doctors should serve the society irrespective of religion, caste and social status. He made the junior doctors take an oath to this effect and wished that they should reach great heights by providing best services to the people. Superintendent of RIMS Dr Aravind, Vice Principals Dr Narsingha Rao, Dr Malati and Dr Ranganath, Regional Medical Officer B Appala Naidu, junior doctors and others participated in the conference.
