Hyderabad: Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao alias KTR, the IT Minister in the state cabinet of Telangana, on Wednesday said that an action against the culprits who circulated malicious information in the social media was imperative. He said he would ensure that the culprits would be punished adequately. Further, he said that he would not hesitate to bring out the changes in the existing law, if it was required. He said as soon as he was informed about the issue, he had spoken to the Commissioner of Police to investigate the case on priority.

He said a similar action has been initiated in the case of Ashanngari Jeevan Reddy’s case. KTR said such mischievous and hateful things would not be tolerated and the culprits would be dealt severely.
It is worth mentioning here that the cyber crimes have been on rise in the present situation; and the same needs to be curbed on top priority.
