Instead, the Telangana government was represented by Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali, Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy and the Finance Minister Etela Rajender.
Apart from Chandrababu Naidu, prominent among those who attended the Iftar included leader of Opposition in AP Assembly Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, Leader of Opposition in Telangana Assembly K Jana Reddy, Chairman T Legislative Council Swamy Goud and TPCC president Ponnala Lakshmaiah.
