CID unearths huge scam in Indiramma housing, Telangana Crime Investigation Department (CID) officials on Tuesday launched massive investigation into the Indiramma housing scam in Regondi village of Peddemul mandal in the Tandur division.

Tandur (Rangareddy): Telangana Crime Investigation Department (CID) officials on Tuesday launched massive investigation into the Indiramma housing scam in Regondi village of Peddemul mandal in the Tandur division.
The CID officials found that out of 1190 houses sanctioned in Basheerabad mandal, as per records 890 houses were constructed and bills were paid. In fact, there was not even foundation for 490 houses. The middlemen with the connivance of Housing officials had misappropriated the funds.
The CID officials said that the irregularities worth Rs one crore have taken place in Basheerabad alone. The CID made it clear that the irregularities in the housing of Peddmul, Yalal and Tandur, Basheerabad mandals would be unearthed in a week.
