Karimnagar: Former MP and senior Congress leader Ponnam Prabhakar on Thursday likened Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s rule to Tughlaq regime.
Speaking to the media here, he asked TRS government whether the people’s caste and socio-economic conditions would change with the State’s bifurcation. He came down heavily on KCR for ‘misrule’ within four months of coming to power. The Congress leader said the people were forced to take to the streets to apply for various welfare schemes.
He wondered how it would be possible for the Mee Seva centres to issue eligibility certificates immediately to the needy. He asked the TRS government whether the centres had enough staff to handle the work.Ponnam alleged that the State was facing power cuts as never seen before. He criticised KCR for not failing to instil confidence in farmers.
