Hyderabad: Telangana TDP MLAs at a luncheon meeting with party chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu here on Wednesday are understood to have chalked out a strategy to put the government in an embarrassing position. Naidu was understood to have lectured the legislators to launch trenchant attack on the TRS government. He was said to have remarked that the Congress party had colluded with the TRS in the Assembly. The suspension of the party MLAs from the Assembly had enabled the government to steamroller proceedings through the session, he said.

The TDP chief suggested to the MLAs that they lodge a complaint with the Speaker against those legislators who had defected to the TRS. He hinted that the party would explore legal options too to proceed against “defectors.” He sought to impress upon the legislators on the need for countering the propaganda that the Andhra Pradesh government was meting out a raw deal to Telangana State in allotting its share of power.

Will T TDP legislators’s suspension come to an end today?
Hyderabad: Stalemate over revoking suspension of Telangana TDP MLAs from the Assembly continues. There is no clarity when their suspension would come to an end.

Minister for Legislative Affairs T Harish Rao, while introducing resolution, called for suspension of MLAs for a week.

Earlier, the Speaker announced that the MLAs were suspended for a day. But later, Harish Rao requested the Speaker to include the names of MLAs Dayakar Rao and Revant Reddy too in the list of suspended legislators. On accepting the request, the Speaker read out the announced that the MLAs were suspended for a week. There is not clarity whether seven days meant seven working days or seven days only. If the legislators were suspended for seven days only, the suspension slapped on them would come to an end by Thursday. If they were suspended for seven working days, their suspension would come to an end by November 21. But the TTDP MLAs are preparing themselves for attending the Assembly proceedings on Thursday.
