Suspected terrorists and ISI agents lodged at the Chanchalguda jail have resorted to a Hunger Strike from yesterday (Tuesday) in protest against the encounter killing of five activists of SIMI including Viqaruddin.

The back-to-back encounters of ISI terrorists in Telangana region has spurred up more protests and demonstrations in the state. Even terrorists in state jails have been protesting against the encounters and staging demos inside the jail. The recent killings by Police have led to a fresh spurt of attacks by the ISI trained and funded activities, says the NIA which has issued a Red Alert in Hyderabad and surrounding areas.

Protesting the killings of their jail mates - Viqaruddin and Co, five terrorists in the Central Jail started a hunger strike. They are terrorists named Khalim, Jhahid, Shakeel, Bhiswak and Aabid Hussain who wrote to Jail Superintendent about their strike campaign.

We are investigating the real intentions behind this new drama. We are trying to investigate whether they were told by someone outside to put pressure on authorities in this fashion says the Superintendent. All the five terrorists recently attended a court hearing at Nampally, Hyderabad.

The Police are suspecting a communication leak in this new episode and are currently on their toes to nullify the impact. There were nearly 27 other terrorists camped in this jail and efforts are to move them to central jail to break their chain reaction.
