Hyderabad: Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao on Tuesday said that the Telangana unit of Congress would organise ‘Rahul Rythu Sandesh Yatra’ in Karimnagar on May 2. Speaking to media persons on the Assembly premises here, Hanumantha Rao said that All India Congress Committee vice president Rahul Gandhi had broadly explained the problems being faced by the farmers across the country during the Kisan Rally held in New Delhi on April 19 and his speech in the Lok Sabha on April 20.

He said Rahul Gandhi’s message for the farmers would be conveyed through ‘Rahul Rythu Sandesh Yatra’ to be organised across Telangana State before the end of monsoon. He said Rahul Gandhi had been invited to tour Telangana to interact with farmers. Hanumantha Rao said he had already visited Ranga Reddy and Mahabubnagar districts and interacted with farmers. He said the tours would be held at large scale and all leaders of Telangana Congress would participate in the ‘Rahul Rythu Sadesh Yatra’.
