Former GHMC mayor Banda Karthika Reddy loses to TRS candidate

Former Mayor of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation in Hyderabad Banda Karthika Reddy was defeated in this polls. Karthika Reddy, who contested on behalf of the Congress, was defeated by TRS candidate Alakunta Saraswathi.

As per the latest trends, TRS is leading with majorty of divisions, while the MIM is in second place. TDP and BJP combine is in the third place while the Congress stands at the fourth place.
