Congress slams TRS plenary amidst drought conditions
TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy on Wednesday along with Congress leaders met Governor ESL Narasimhan where they explained the condition of the people in Telangana who are reeling under the effects of drought and also highlighted the ruling TRS government\'s negligent attitude towards the situation by citing the party plenary celebrations.

Expressing regret at the callous attitude of the TRS government, Uttam Kumar Reddy addressed the media after the meet and said that it is surprising to witness a government celebrating its plenary particularly when the state is reeling under drought.
The TPCC president said that the government measures to tackle the drought situation were zero and further demanded an all-party meeting to meet with the drought situation.
