City Congress working president Rajanala Srihari has demanded the State government to come to the rescue of the family members of late Bhupathi Krishna Murthy, who was popularly called as ‘Telangana Gandhi’.
Warangal: City Congress working president Rajanala Srihari has demanded the State government to come to the rescue of the family members of late Bhupathi Krishna Murthy, who was popularly called as ‘Telangana Gandhi’.
Speaking to press persons in Warangal on Thursday, he reminded that Assembly speaker S Madhusudhana Chary, Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari and other TRS leaders, who attended the last rites of Krishna Murthy 20 months ago, have promised to extend financial benefit of Rs 20 lakh, a job to one of the family members, a piece of land for house and others.
But so far no steps were taken in that direction even after 20 months passed since the demise of Krishna Murthy, who made great contribution to separate Telangana movement.
The TRS leadership should deliver the promises made to his family at the earliest by putting pressure on the State government, the Congress leader demanded.
