Case booked against Owaisi
The Saroornagar police on Friday booked a case against AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi on charges of sedition under section 124 (A) (Sedition). The move was followed by the directions from a local court that accepted the plea of advocate K Karunasagar who alleged that the MP’s remarks on providing legal aid to the arrested terror suspects, was treason.

The move was followed by the directions from a local court that accepted the plea of advocate K Karunasagar who alleged that the MP’s remarks on providing legal aid to the arrested terror suspects, was treason.
The police had booked a case and said they would proceed with investigation. Afresh, advocate Karunasagar lodged another complaint with the Saroornagar police stating that he was receiving threatening calls from Hyderabad, Malaysia and Bahrain from unknown persons for filing complaint against MP Asaduddin. Based on the complaint, the police booked a case and started probe to trace the numbers.
