Nizamabad: District Collector Yogita Rana accompanied by joint Collector Ravinder Reddy, on Saturday took part in a tree plantation programme held in Mallaram forest area of the district under the aegis of the Rotary Club.
She planted the saplings and asked school students to water them. She advised the organisers to install tree guards till the saplings grew up to a height safe enough from cattle. She asked officials to take steps to pay wages to workers as part of the NREGS for digging pits, planting saplings and watering them.
