Water released from Sankara Samudram
The government has released water from Sankara Samudram reservoir in Kothakota mandal to irrigate 8,000 acres of dry land in Wanaparthy district. The irrigation department installed about 10 motors at Sankara Samudram reservoir and released water into the canals.
