Sangareddy: The efforts by district Collector Manik Raj Kannan to ensure that the officials of the Medical and Health Department stay at their respective health centre is yielding results.
After taking office, he had issued orders to all the district medical officers to stay at their respective posting centres. The officers were strictly told that they should inform the District Medical and Health Officers a day before in the event they go on casual leave. The Medical and Health officer was also directed to ensure that another medical officer is posted in the place of the one who has gone on leave.
He also asked the DM&HO to inform the details to the press to be published in the newspapers and asked the sanctioned leave details to be sent to the DM&HO office every evening before 5 pm. He warned the officials of stringent action if the directions were not followed.
