​Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Monday asked officials to prepare plans for a four-lane ring road around the temple town of Yadadri to ease traffic congestion.

Reviewing works taken up by the Yadadri Temple Development Authority here, KCR said in addition to the four-lane ring road to Yadadri, a road should be developed around Yadadri temple for pradakshina.

Devotees should be provided transport facility to the hilltop from the Yadadri village and from there special buses should be provided. It should be a one-way traffic. All through the road on both ways care should be taken to provide good landscape.

Cottages for the visitors should be equipped with all facilities and they should be built opposite the main temple hill. In the 13 acres of area on the North-East side a special presidential suite should be built. Police, fire and health services should be recognised as emergency services and improved in Yadadri.

KCR said adequate funds had been provided for developing Yadadri and making it a great temple city. Requisite land had been acquired.

He suggested that the temple architects and planners go around different temples in the country and study special facilities for replicating the good ones in Yadadri.

Facilities should be provided for devotees even their number exceeds one lakh a day, he directed the officials.
