Speaking to the media after paying tributes at the Ambedkar Statue at Liberty crossroads and at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday, Bhatti asked the people to raise their voice against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s state-sponsored violence.
The TRS government was targeting those, who questioned the questionable functioning of the State government.
The TRS government was trying to malign Telangana Political JAC chairman Prof. M Kodandaram branding him as a ‘Congress agent’ failing to answer his questions.
He also warned that they will keep the TRS party on ventilator in the near future and stated that the TRS party was afraid of Congress party.
The TRS was not in a position to answer the questions raised by the Congress, he alleged.
The TRS State government was disposing the SC, ST Sub-plan by diverting funds released under it.
The State government has to release a white paper on SC, ST Sub-plan funds released in the last two-and-a-half years, he demanded. The TRS government has to continue the Pranahitha-Chevella project’s name of Ambedkar project.
SCR observes Mahaparinirvan Diwas
The South Central Railway observed 60th Mahaparinirvan Diwas of Bharat Ratna Dr B R Ambedkar on Tuesday at Rail Nilayam here. Floral tributes were paid to Babasaheb to mark his death anniversary.
A K Gupta, Additional General Manager, SCR, who was the Chief Guest on the occasion, offered floral tributes. Many dignitaries were present on the occasion and paid homage to Dr Ambedkar by garlanding his statue.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta said people of the country would remember Bharat Ratna Ambedkar every day for his gift to the nation, the Constitution of India, which provided equality, freedom and justice to all.
N V Ramana Reddy, Chief Personnel Officer, SCR, paid rich homage to Dr Ambedkar, the Chief Architect of Indian Constitution.
He said that Dr Ambedkar brought in new social order based on equality and brotherhood. He fought for the rights of all the citizens a and not for a particular section of the society.
G Srinivas Reddy, CPO (Admn), SCR, Shankar Rao, General Secretary, SCR Mazdoor Union; Prabhakar Andrews, President, SCR Employees Sangh and members of OBC Cell, SC & ST Railway Employees Association also spoke on the occasion.
PIB pays tributes

While delivering his keynote address Dr P J Sudhakar, ADG, PIB Hyderabad, said Dr Ambedkar is the “Father of the Indian Constitution” and he was the maker of the modern India. “I bow to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on his Nirvan Diwas.
