The party leaders organised meetings in Chunchupally, Penduagadapa and Rudrampur mandals which cover the coal areas. Addressing a meeting, BLF convener A Kanakaiah came down heavily on the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and its anti-people policies.
He said after the formation of Telangana, the TRS leaders had been cheating the people with false promises. People in the State were a vexed lot due to the anti-people policies being adopted by the TRS government, he said, adding that in the next Assembly elections, people would outrightly reject the TRS.
The BLF organised a survey across the State, and in the survery it was found that people had been facing innuerable problems due to the wrong governeance, he said. He said people had submitted several represeantions to the BLF activists narrating their plights during the survey and the BLF leaders would submit all the applications to the respective District Collectors in order to get their issues addressed. He also urged the prople to make the protest programme in front of the Collectorates a huge success by taking part in large numbers.
