Kangal (Nalgonda): Former Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has predicted that people of the State were eagerly waiting for elections to bring the Congress back to power as it has fulfilled the promise of separate Telangana.
On Thursday, he took part in party workers meeting held at Kuurampally of Kangal in Nalgonda constituency. Addressing the gathering, he advised the party workers to not to lose confidence at any cost and predicted that people were going to witness the victory of Congress in 2019 elections.
“Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been making baseless comments against Congress leaders. Government is deliberately filing false cases against him, he alleged.
Exuding confidence that he would get justice from court, Komatireddy urged people to bless him in next elections too and help him serve the people of Nalgonda assembly constituency.
He ruled out the rumors of joining other political party and informed that along with his brother, Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy, he will strive hard to win the party in all 12 assembly and two parliament seats in erstwhile Nalgonda district.
