Chandur (Nalgonda): Theratpally and Ghattuppal village of Chandur mandal in the district are shivering in the name of Tiger. Villagers suspect that a tiger from the nearest forest has been roaming in the villages in the nights and killing animals to satisfy it’s hunger.

The villagers informed that they found the prints of paws of a wild animal (similar to tiger) in the mud and also the half-eaten calf’s carcass in the village. On information of villagers, the Forest officials visited the spot and examined the paws of the animal.

Officials informed that they would come to know whether the animal is a tiger or a jackal or hyena after micro examination of paws of the animal and identifications of paws on calf’s body.
Senior officials will make an announcement about the roaming wild animal very soon , they added.
