Kacheguda: Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) formed ABVP committees at Kacheguda and Vidyanagar zones on Friday. The committee elections were held under the supervision of Praveen Kumar, in charge, Vidyanagar zone. ABVP city vice president Lingaswamy participated in the programme as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, ABVP district convener Suman said that the organisation was constantly striving to address the issues faced by the students. The students body works on the principles of knowledge, character and unity, he said.
Later, Vidyanagar zone committee was elected, comprising Vamshi Madhav as secretary, and Sunitha, Durga and Ramakrishna as joint secretaries. Vamshi was elected as Kacheguda zone secretary, Sateesh, Sai, and Manasa were elected as joint secretaries. Among those participated in the programme were ABVP leaders Srinu, Rajashekhar, Rahul, and Sai.
