Returning officers appointed for all 6 constituencies
District Collector Gaurav Uppal on Friday informed that returning officers have been appointed to all six constituencies in the district There are 1272 lakh voters in the district as on October 6, said the Collector who also advised people to visit national voters service portal for registration of new votes and to check existing voters names
Nalgonda: District Collector Gaurav Uppal on Friday informed that returning officers have been appointed to all six constituencies in the district. There are 12.72 lakh voters in the district as on October 6, said the Collector who also advised people to visit national voters’ service portal for registration of new votes and to check existing voters names.
Election notification will be issued on November 12 and nominations will be received up to 19. Scrutiny of nominations will be carried out on 20, date of withdrawal of nominations is 22, elections on December 7 and counting of votes on December 11 will be done.
He explained the measures, trainings for election staff, security arrangements, establishment of inter-district and interstate check posts, polling booths and special polling booths for elders and disabled.
