Hyderabad: All India Congress Committee (AICC) official spokesperson Kushboo Sundar on Tuesday alleged that caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has turned into a ‘commission man.’ While addressing the media as part of her campaign for the Congress, she slammed the Chief Minister and said that he had been working only to get commission on government works. She said that the Chief Minister does not have any respect to the Opposition, the State was in second place in corruption and in third place in unemployment. She said that the Congress vows to be with the people and it gives protection to all.
She described Chief Minister as "Naya Nawab" and alleged that he failed to deliver what he promised during 2014 assembly election. She claimed that atrocities against women in the State have gone up during the TRS regime. “The promises made by Rao have gone to the dustbin. The only woman who benefited from his rule was his daughter Kavitha and the only beneficiaries of his administration were his family members,” she added.
Kushboo said that if the Congress comes to power in the State then the self-help groups would be provided with Rs 10 lakh loan, would give Rs 5 lakh for construction of Indiramma houses, and would give nine types of commodities through the ration shops. She alleged that the TRS government failed utterly to provide minimum support price to the farmers. She wondered at the claim of the Chief Minister that he does not own a car but constructed a palatial building worth Rs 300 crore for him.
She said that it was only Chandrashekar Rao who confined himself to the farm house without visiting the secretariat. She made it clear that the Chief Minister would earn a biz zero in the election. Kushboo said that the State had been put under the caretaker government rule and the government’s attitude towards the Maoists was not right. She said that fake encounters have been taking place in the State. She wanted to know the answer of the Chief Minister on the encounter of Maoist Shruthi. She alleged that the Chief Minister even cheated the journalists and said that the TRS and the BJP were in love.
