Grand plans for World AIDS Day on December 1
Additional Project Director of Telangana State AIDS Control Society has said that December 1 would be observed as the World AIDS Day across the world to spread awareness on HIV prevention, treatment care He said that support activities, such as walks, runs, bike rallies, mega meetings and so on would be conducted on the day
Hyderabad: Additional Project Director of Telangana State AIDS Control Society has said that December 1 would be observed as the World AIDS Day across the world to spread awareness on HIV prevention, treatment care. He said that support activities, such as walks, runs, bike rallies, mega meetings and so on would be conducted on the day.
The society will be conducting World AIDS Day in a big way by propagating this year’s theme “Know Your Status,” sending a call to everybody to come forward to know their HIV status. As a part of the activities, a 10k Marathon is planned and as many as 5,000 people are expected to participate. State eminent personalities, such as the governor, IAS officers and celebrities from Telugu Film Industry are also expected to take part in the event. The Marathon will take place on the Necklace Road from 5 am to 9 am.
