Addagudur(Yadadri- Bhongir): Negligence of the driver of a life saving ambulance took a patient’s life on Friday This incident took place during wee hours of Friday at Kanchanpally village outskirts of Addagudur mandal. The deceased was identified as Srinivas of Mahbubabad district.
According to the sources, Vemula Srinvas of Narsimhulpet mandal headquarters of Mahabubabad district along with wife Shobha was returning home after having undergoing liver surgery at Gandhi Hospital in Hydeabad.
When hired Ambulance reached the outskirts of Kanchanpally, the driver tried to overtake the car bearing number TS 26 B 4210.The driver applied sudden brake after overtaking the car that led to hit the car at rear side of the ambulance.
In this incident Srinivas got severe head injury and was died on the way to hospital in Mothkur. The dead body was shifted to the Government hospital in Ramannapet for postmortem.
Local police seized the ambulance and arrested the ambulance driver. On complaint of deceased’s wife Shobha, Addagudur SI Ramesh registered a case and took up investigation.
