Nalgonda: The doctors of the Indian Medical Association, Nilagiri branch of Nalgonda district, celebrated Bhogi with their families on Monday. While the men wore white dhoti and white shirts for the festivities, women turned up in Pochampally sarees. As part of celebrations, fun games, kolatam, dance numbers etc were organised on the day.

In the morning, Rangoli competition was held and prizes were given to the winners. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Pulla Rao, president IMA, Nilagiri branch appreciated the spirit of doctors in celebrating festivals keeping alive the traditions and culture of Telangana.

Dr Jayaprakash Reddy, State council member of IMA, Nilagiri branch said doctors while rendering professional service are always with society taking part in all activities and social service. He thanked all the doctors for coming together and celebrating the festival.
