Enroll names into voters list by Jan 25: Collector Venkatram Reddy

Sircilla: All the eligible persons must enrol their names in the voters list by January 25, stated District Collector Venkatram Reddy. In a statement released here on Monday, the Collector suggested the people to check their names in the voters list by visiting Tahsildar office or in the websites - www.ceotelangana.nic.in or https://www.nvsp.in/ through online.

All those, whose names are not found in the voters list, and those, who have completed 18 years of age by January 1, 2019 can enroll their names in the voters list.

Eligible voters have to have form no: 6 and submit it to Booth Level Officer (BLO) or Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) concerned. They can enroll their names through online also. Persons living abroad have to fill form number: 6 A and those, whose address was changed permanently, has to fill form number: 7. For correcting spelling mistakes in names and other details, form number 8 should be submitted.

Objections and suggestions on voters’ list will be received till January 25; voters list will be announced on February 11; and the final list will be displayed on February 22. He suggested that every person, who completed 18 years of age by 1 January 2019 must enroll their names in the voters list without fail.

Meanwhile, following the orders from District Collector Venkatram Reddy, district cultural department is doing vigorous campaigning through various methods in all villages with the help of Kala Jathas to create awareness on the importance of vote.
