Civil Supplies Commissioner Akun Sabharwal denied the allegations and rumours of ration cards being deleted

Hyderabad: Civil Supplies Commissioner Akun Sabharwal denied the allegations and rumours of ration cards being deleted.

"There is no truth in the news circulated on Deletion of Ration Cards of the farmers who own 10 acres or more and are Rythu Bandhu Scheme beneficiaries. Civil Supplies Department has not issued any orders on this matter," Sabharwal said in a press release on Wednesday. He claimed that the State government has not thought of deleting ration cards. Every eligible ration card beneficiary will get ration commodities. No eligible ration cards are removed, he said. The Civil Supplies Department has issued 3.50 lakh ration cards to eligible applicants in recent times. The Commissioner said farmers need not panic on this false news of ration cards deletion.
