Students advised to inculcate reading habit
District Collector R V Karnan advised the students to inculcate the habit of book reading, during the Child Rights Week celebrations held on a grand note at Minority Function Hall here on Tuesday.

R V Karnan and Deputy Commissioner of Police Venugopal Rao were the chief guests. The duo distributed awards to winners of essay writing competition conducted to students on the occasion.
Later, the Collector attended the valedictory function of Children’s Film Festival held at Srinivasa Theatre. Kids watched films on patriotism, communal harmony, villages, animals and environment with utmost interest. Dance performances of kids attracted the attention of audience.
