A team of six students from SR Engineering College, Warangal, secured the first position among different institutes across the country for their automated innovation for rural toy-makers. The automated toy-making machine will have a grinder, conveyor belt, rollers, block cutter, die punch and a furnace. 

Hyderabad: A team of six students from SR Engineering College, Warangal, secured the first position among different institutes across the country for their automated innovation for rural toy-makers. The automated toy-making machine will have a grinder, conveyor belt, rollers, block cutter, die punch and a furnace.

Their distinction was achieved at a national-level community problem-solving competition organised recently by the Indo-Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education IUCEE- Student Consortium for Advancement and Learning in Engineering Education at Tyagaraja College of Engineering, Madurai, SREC students were awarded for developing a cost-effective automated toy-making machine that increases productivity four-fold.

The students said “It was indeed a heartwarming challenge and what gave us immense satisfaction is solving a problem.” The team comprised Paul Vineeth reddy (IV ECE), K Enosh (III Mech), S.Sirihasa, (III CSE), Md Imran Ahmad (III Mech), K Sricharan (III EEE) and D Vinay (III ECE).

College principal while congratulating the students said "We are immensely proud of our EPICS team achievement in winning the innovation award. We hope the toy-makers will find it very useful.”
