Reports say six iPhones, three Samsung models, and one Oppo phone are the top-selling phones in the world.

Reports say in 2019, Apple dominated the smartphone market when it comes to the top ten selling models. According to Apple Insider, Counterpoint Research discloses that six iPhones, three Samsung models, and one Oppo phone are the top-selling phones across the world.

The report also discloses that the iPhone XR and iPhone 11 are proved as the best performers for Apple with 3 per cent and 2.1 per cent market stake. Other than these two, the iPhone 11 Pro Max grabbed the eighth position in the top 10 with a 1.1 per cent share, though, iPhone 11 Pro was not able to enter the list. iPhone 8 is at sixth position with 1.2 per cent, iPhone 7 with 1.1 per cent stood at ninth place. The iPhone XS Max got one per cent share in the market.

The report also publicised that Samsung Galaxy A50 grabbed the third position with a 1.8 per cent share in the market. Galaxy A10 and Galaxy A20 got fourth and seventh positions with 1.7 per cent 1.1 per cent shares correspondingly. Oppo's A5 secured fifth place with a 1.3 per cent share in the market.

In North America, iPhones made up to the top five handsets and overall account for nearly 30 per cent of market share.

In Europe, the report says that iPhone XR and iPhone 11 is at the second and third position in the top ten list with a 4 per cent and 3 per cent share correspondingly. Samsung Galaxy A50 is in the first place with a 5 per cent share.
