SP Shashidhar Raju said people should celebrate the festivals happily, irrespective of their communities, with unity and brotherly hood in the district. Everyone should respect tradition and culture of other communities. Saying that Muslim festivals Ramzan and Bakrid are celebrated here without any disturbances, the SP said Nirmal is a district of Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb with trust and mutual respect among Muslims and Hindus. People of both the communities exchanges greetings on festivals.

The SP asked the people to inform the police immediately if they face any problem and urged them not to believe people on social media. As many as 64 Police have installed CCTV cameras at Ganesh pandals in Nirmal and 43 in Bhainsa for security reasons. People should not use loudspeakers after 10 pm and should not create insecurity feeling to others. He also wanted the people to dial 100 if they have any problem. Every Ganesh pandal must take police permission, the SP said.

Joint Collector A Bhaskar Rao instructed the officials concerned to maintain roads and streets clean and neat, garbage should not appear on roads and pot holes should be filled with gravel. Transco officials were told to provide uninterrupted power supply during the festival. Municipal and electricity officials were to provide round-the-clock services.The police will set up a control room for the smooth conduct of the festival, he informed.

Additional SP Dakshinamurthy, RDO Prasunamba, DSPs Upender Reddy and Rajesh Bhalla, CIs John Diwakar, Electricity department SE Chowhan, Municipal Commissioner Ravi Babu, Ganesh Utsava Committee members Gandrath Eshwar, Azeembin Yahya, Ravula Ramnath, Rajendar, A Rajendar, Rafi and others were present.
