Excel in sports & education, DSP advises students

Patancheru: Local DSP Rajeswara Rao on Friday advised students to stay ahead in sports along with education. Speaking after inaugurating the State-level sports competitions for the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule BC Welfare Gurukul Girls Schools in RRS Engineering College, Muthangi, he said students should have a competitive spirit during the event.

Secretary of Gurukul School Mallayya Battu observed that wins and defeats were common in sports and should be taken in the right spirit. 'Only then you will go on to occupy high positions,' he said, adding that students should develop both body and mental confidence for achieving success. Among those present were TAS Indira, Vigilance Officer Karunakar Reddy, VGO Keshavulu and RCO Prabhkar.
