GHMC election result 2020: TRS' clean sweep in Kukatpally, AIMIM in Falaknuma

The ruling TRS party made a clean sweep in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) in Kukatpally circle.
The ruling TRS party made a clean sweep in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) in Kukatpally circle. TRS candidates Narsimha Yadav (Old Bowenpally-119), Avula Ravindar Reddy (Balanagar-120), Jupalli Satyanarayana Kukatpally-121), Madhavaram Roja (Vivekananda Nagar-122), Narne Srinivas Rao (Hydernagar-123), Dodla Venkatesh Goud (Alwyn colony-124) won in Kukatpally circle.
The TRS party indulged in the celebrations with the party emerging victorious in all the six divisions under Kukatpally circle.
On the other hand, All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) swept in Falaknuma circle in municipal elections. All the six divisions from Falaknuma circle were won by AIMIM candidates -- K Tarabai (Falaknuma), Shareen (Nawabsaheb Kunta), Mohammad Saleem (Doodhbowli), MD Abdul Muqtadar (Jahanuma), Mohammad Khadar (Ramnasthpura), Khaja Mubashiruddin (Kishan Bagh).
The party also heading to make a clean sweep in Chandrayangutta circle by winning the majority of the divisions. So far, AIMIM won in Riyasatnagar, Kachanbagh, Barkas, Chandrayangutta divisions. The election result of Lalithabagh, Uppuguda, Jangammet divisions is yet to be announced.
BJP which gave a tough competition to TRS in the GHMC election won all the six divisions of Goshamahal circle. The six divisions include Begum Bazar (Shankar Yadav), Goshamahal (Lal Singh), Mangalhat (Sashikala), Jambagh (Rakesh Jaiswal), Gunfoundry (Dr Surekha Om Prakash).
