Hyderabad: Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) chief Prof Kodandaram has flayed the government for not filling Chairman and Members posts in State Human Rights Commission (SHRC).
He said while the members' posts (judicial and non-judicial) were vacant from August 2015 onwards, the post of Chairperson has been lying vacant since December 2016.
He also pointed out meagre allocations and spending on permanent buildings for residential schools.
Kodandaram said instead of attending to such key matters, the TRS government was wasting public money by demolishing present Secretariat and constructing a new building.
