Godavarikhani: The Gyarvi Shareef Jenda panduga was celebrated on a grand note in Godavarikhani of Peddapalli district on Monday. DCP Sudarshan Goud, Additional DCP (Admin) Ashok, Additional DCP (Law & Order) Ravi Kumar and others offered special prayers on the occasion.

They appreciated the members of the Police Association for celebrating the festival under Ramagundam Police Commissionerate limits at a Madarsa in Godavarikhani.Later, annadanam programme was conducted for the children present in the Madarsa.

CS B Venkateshwarlu, CI Budda Swamy, Reserve Inspector Sundar Rao, Madhukar and Police Association president Pochalingam were present along with the elders of the Muslim community.
