Patancheru: The J K Fenner Industry and Swasthatha Cancer Care an NGO, on Thursday jointly organised a cancer awareness programme for the benefit of rural people in Indresam village of Patancheru mandal. Doctors of MNR Hospital conducted free cancer tests for parents of primary school students. There was good response, about 100 people underwent the tests, NGO representatives Shiva and Ramana told The Hans India. They said free medicines were given to women who underwent the tests.
The NGO thanked those who attended the programme, including school teachers and students.
